NC honoring Nepali football team today



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) is honoring the Nepali national football team for its brilliant performance in the 13th SAAF Championship.

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand is honoring the Nepali football team at the City Hall in the federal capital at 2 pm today.

Nepali football team will be feted with a cash award of Rs 101,000 along with a letter of appreciation for securing first-runner up in the 13th SAAF Championship held in Male, the capital city of Maldives, recently, informed former minister and coordinator of Youth Department of the NC Shankar Bhandari.

Nepal had reached the final of the SAAF game for the first time in history despite facing the defeat at the hands of India.
