Ordinance relating to Political Parties will be withdrawn today: Prachanda



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the process of withdrawing the ordinance on Political Parties Act has already started.

Briefing the Standing Committing (SC) meeting on the alliance’s position about the ordinance that facilitated the split of the parties, Maoist Center Chair said that the cabinet meeting will soon withdraw the ordinance.

According to Maoist Center sources, Prachanda informed that the process of expanding the cabinet would move forward with the withdrawal of the ordinance that had paved way for party split.

“Probably the process of withdrawing the ordinance will start in the parliament today. The cabinet will also be completed soon,” the source quoted Prachanda.
