Bagmati Province Assembly session prorogued



KATHMANDU: The eighth session of the Bagmati Province Assembly has been prorogued effective from Friday midnight.

The Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma has, on the recommendation of the Provincial Council of Ministers, ended the Assembly session Friday.

The Cabinet meeting held today had recommended to the Province Chief to prorogue the Province Assembly Session. It was the second meeting of the Cabinet after Ashta Laxmi Shakya assumed the post of Chief Minister as a successor of Dormani Poudel.

The 8th session of the province assembly was begun on May 30.
