NEPSE increases by 29.24 points, reaches an all-time high



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 29.24 points on Tuesday and reached an all-time high of 3079.67 points.

A total of 32.35 million shares of 225 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 15.17 billion

Likewise, the Banking group has declined by 3 points, trade by 2 points, hotels, and tourism by 18 points, and microfinance by 116 points.

Development Bank increased by 35 points, hydropower by 119 points, finance by 71 points, non-life insurance by 120 points, manufacturing by 305 points, life insurance by 260 points, and other groups by 60 points.

The value of 10 companies have increased by 10 percent.

Similarly, the prices of Nepal Hydro Developers, United Modi Hydropower, Joshi Hydropower, Multipurpose Finance, Khanikhola Hydropower, Ghalemdi Hydropower, Himalayan Energy Development, Universal Power, Janaki Finance and United Idi Mardi RB have increased by 10 percent.

The prices of Synergy Power, Reliance Finance, and Ankhu Khola Hydropower have gone up by more than 9 percent. Prices of Green Life, Api Power, and Himalaya Distillery have risen by more than 8 percent.

Investors in Support Microfinance lost the most at 5.77 percent. Similarly, the prices of Unnati Sahakarya Microfinance, Janautthan Samudayik, and Nepal Insurance have declined by more than 5 percent.

NIC Asia Bank topped the list in terms of the transaction amount.

The company has a turnover of Rs 490 million.
