KATHMANDU: A meeting of both the Houses of the federal parliament is taking place today.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to table the annual report of the Election Commission at a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) to be held at the federal parliament building in New Baneshwor at 1 pm.
Similarly, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota will read out the details of the letter of appointment received from the President’s Office. In the meeting, the Speaker will present a condolence motion on the demise of former lawmaker Bishnu Bahadur Tamang.
Similarly, the meeting of the National Assembly will be held at 1 pm today, according to the Parliament Secretariat.
