Nepal records 1,920 new COVID-19 cases, 34 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 424 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 1,920 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,353 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 567 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 292 persons in Kathmandu, 100 in Lalitpur, and 32 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 424 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 34 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 3,007 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
