Monsoon to remain active today as well

Heavy rain forecast in Province 1, Bagmati Province and Lumbini Province



KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted that the monsoon will remain active today as well.

The weather will remain generally to mostly cloudy throughout the country, according to the MFD.

It has also predicted light to moderate rain to continue at many places of the country on Sunday with chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of Province 1, Bagmati Province and Lumbini Province.

Heavy rains in several parts of the country are likely to affect normal life today.

According to a weather bulletin, light to moderate rains will occur in many parts of the country on Sunday.

Heavy rainfall amid thunderstorms are likely to occur in Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh and Lumbini Pradesh.

The Kathmandu Valley is also likely to witness rainfall today afternoon.

Similarly, light to moderate rains are expected in many places of the country tonight.
