CJ Rana sends all 19 petitions on HoR dissolution to constitutional bench



KATHMANDU: Chief Justice (CJ) Cholendra Shumsher Rana has sent all 19 petitions concerning the dissolution of the House to the constitutional bench.

CJ Rana on Thursday sent the petitions to the constitutional bench after a preliminary hearing on the petitions.

The constitutional bench will hear the petitions from Friday.

The petitions in the constitutional bench will be heard by a five bench headed by Chief Justice Rana.

Likewise, the bench will also hear other 11 petitions that have been registered with the constitutional bench.

As many as 30 petitions have been registered demanding the reinstatement of the House of Representatives.
