Brigadier General KC succumbs to coronavirus



KATHMANDU: Nepal Army Brigadier General Dinesh Kumar KC has succumbed to coronavirus.

KC, who was undergoing treatment at the military hospital in Chhauni after contracting coronavirus infection, died on Thursday morning, according to Army Spokesperson Santosh Ballabh Poudel.

He had been in the hospital for a month and was also kept on a ventilator.

KC is one of the high-ranking officers of the Nepali Army who succumbed to coronavirus.
