11 family members including an Indian returnee test positive for COVID-19



RAJBIRAJ: As many as 11 members of a family have infected with COVID-19 in Dakneshwari municipality in Saptari district.

The 11 members of the same family tested positive for the pandemic at ward no. 3 of the municipality, informed acting chief of health department of the municipality Duniyalal Yadav.

The infection was first confirmed in a 95-year-old woman during a test at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan few days ago.

The other 10 members of her family were confirmed infected with the virus in the course of contract tracing. Swabs of 15 individuals had been collected, said Yadav.

Few days earlier, a 60-year-old member of the family had returned home from Rajasthan, India.

The infected have been kept in home isolation.
