JSP office-bearers’ meeting on new power-sharing underway



KATHMANDU:  Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) is holding an office-bearers’ meeting at the central party headquarters in Balkumari on Tuesday.

The meeting has been called to dwell on a new power sharing, a JSP leader said.

JSP’s Central Council Chairman Mahantha Thakur, Federal Council Chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Chairman Upendra Yadav, leader Rajendra Mahato, Rajendra Shrestha and Ashok Rai are attending the meeting.

The JSP meeting is taking place at a time when the preparations are underway to file a no confidence motion against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Federal Council Chairman Dr Baburam Bhattaram has left the meeting after floating a proposal to register a no-confidence motion against Oli.

Thakur and Mahato are in favor of Prime Minister Oli while Yadav and  Bhattarai group is against  Oli. They are of the view that the no-confidence motion should be registered against Oli immediately.
