KATHMANDU: Former Tourism Minister and Nepali Congress leader Kuber Sharma has passed away. He was 84.

Considered close to Former Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai, Sharma had once hit the headlines by establishing Hariyali Party.

He had not been active in politics since over last few years due to his poor health condition.

He had been elected to the House of Representatives from Saptari in 2048 BS.
