Driver and co-driver killed in Dakshinkali truck mishap



KATHMANDU: A driver and co-driver have died in a truck accident in Dakshinkali municipality-9 in Kathmandu.

The deceased have been identified as truck driver Mohan Lal Rumba of Thaha municipality-4, Makwanpur and co-driver Gom Bahadur Budha of Dakshinkali of Kathmandu.

The accident took place when a truck, Ba 3 Kha 6199, heading to Pharping from Thahakhel skidded off and fell some 50 meters down the road at Hanumane.

Critically injured Rumba and Budha, who were rushed to National Trauma Center, Kathmandu, breathed their last in the course of treatment, said Traffic Police division.
