NEPSE increases by 71.20 points today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 71.20 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2591.41 points.

A total of 8.60 million shares of 231 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 5.173 points.
Hydropower increased by 3 points and finance subgroups declined by 24 points.

The banking group increased by 20 points, trade by 21 points, hotel and tourism by 48 points, development bank by 51 points, non-life insurance by 907 points, manufacturing by 355 points, others by 50 points, microfinance by 172 points, and life insurance subgroup increased by 1302 points.

While the value of 132 companies increased, the value of 52 companies decreased.

The value of 15 companies has increased by 10 percent.

The share value of National Life, United Insurance, Everest Insurance, Premier Insurance, Prabhu Insurance, Prudential, Lumbini General, Asian Life, Prime Life, Gurans Life, Reliance Life, Prabhu Life, Sanima, Jyoti Life, and Madhyabhotekosi increased by 10 percent.

The recently listed Madhya Bhotekoshi is priced at Rs 110 per share.
