CAN Info-Tech Festival to be held on February 1-6, 2022

KATHMANDU: The Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Federation is going to organize the 27th edition of the CAN Info-Tech Fair from Bhrikutimandap in the federal capital from February 1 to 6, 2022.

Final preparations are underway for the Festival, an annual event to showcase new technologies developed in the information, technology, and communication sector as well as to hold interaction on preparing the strategy needed for the promotion of the ICT sector.

CAN Federation announced in a press conference today that this year’s CAN Info-Tech Festival will be in hybrid form, i.e. it would be organized physically as well as virtually.

Although the 27th edition of this Festival was scheduled to be organized from May 11 to 16 this year, it had to be called off due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Member organizations of the CAN Federation, as well as various national and international companies related to ICT, will participate in the Festival.

Federation general secretary Narayan Thapa said the entrepreneurs will be able to utilize the event as an opportunity to expand their business as well as the venue to exhibit the new technologies while the visitors as a forum to observe and purchase new devices related to ICT at a single spot.

The organizers believe that the Festival will be a special venue for those interested in ICT to acquire information on the new developments and practices in this sector.

Various stalls related to branding, ICT accessories, game parlor, product launching, start-up, robotics, emerging technologies, e-waste management, Wi-Fi, Internet, and Learning Centre will be kept in the CAN Info-Tech 2022.
