DIPAYAL: Suspension bridges are being constructed at Kotbhairav and Dudheshwor, historical and archeological sites in Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-2 and 5 to attract tourists to the district.

The bridge is being constructed at a height of at least 70 meters above Dwari river in Dipayal with the objective of making it easy to see the scenery around.

The construction of the bridge has been started to publicize the Kotbhairav and Dudheshwar temples and attract tourists, said Mayor of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality Manju Malasi.

“Once the bridge is built, there will be a crowd of tourists,” he said.

The bridge is expected to play an important role in attracting both domestic and foreign tourists to visit the religious sites on the two hills.

Tulsi Shahi, a local said that the attraction of tourists will increase as the bridge will allow visitors to get a scenic view of the major business centers of Dipayal, Pipalla Airport, Rajpur and Gholatdal.
