TAPLEJUNG: Snow has affected the normal life in the mountainous region of Taplejung district.

There has been snowfall in the Himalayan region including Faktanglung village municipality-6 Ghunsa located at an altitude of 3,400 meters above sea level.

According to locals of Ghunsa, heavy snowfall has started on Friday even though it has been snowing normally since Wednesday.

Children and senior citizens have been affected by the snowfall.

Meanwhile, schools have also been closed since last week as students could not come to school due to snow.
