Genese Solution Ltd opens its first office in the United States



KATHMANDU: Genese Solution Limited, a digital technology service provider, has opened its first office in the United States.

The company, with its headquarters in the United Kingdom, already has offices in Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia and Finland.

Genese Solution is also the authorized service provider of Amazon Web Services, Google and Microsoft and has already offered its services to some of the largest banks in the United States.

With its new US office, the company aims expansion to Silicon Valley and Fortune 500 companies as part of its strategy to expand business and service delivery networks around the world.

“The United States is the world’s largest market in the information, communication, and technology industry, and our formal presence there is an achievement and a source of pride for us. We want to strengthen our presence in the international market as a company and establish Nepal as a resource country that has succeeded in maintaining market standards in the global information, communication and technology industry,” said Anjani Phuyal, Global Chief Technology Officer, Genese Solutions Limited.

The company aims to continue providing services from offices around the world in partnership with world-renowned cloud service providers, including AWS, Google, Microsoft, and Alibaba Cloud. In the US market, the company will offer its services at competitive rates.

Earlier, Business Oxygen Pvt. Ltd., a private equity fund of International Finance Corporation (IFC), a sister organization of World Bank, had injected about Rs. 50 million into Nepal’s first cloud consultancy company — Genese Solution Ltd. Business Oxygen Pvt. Ltd. is IFC’s first private equity fund in Nepal.

Genese Solution Ltd is using the investment as working capital to launch a ‘hybrid cloud’ project and significantly increase the services provided by the company.
