Unified Socialist’s lofty aim of defeating UML is like mosquito dreaming of devouring elephant: UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has said that the Unified Socialist led by Madhav Kumar Nepal should not dream of defeating the UML in the upcoming election. He compared such lofty ambitions to a scenario in which a mosquito dreams of devouring an elephant.

Addressing the UML’s Central Committee (CC) meeting Sunday, Oli said Unified Socialist Chair Nepal telling that they would defeat the UML in the polls was like a mosquito dreaming of devouring an elephant.

“Madhav Nepal saying one has to search for UML by lighting a torch in the election is similar to a mosquito dreaming of devouring an elephant while it is asleep,” Oli said at the CC meeting.

Unified Socialist Chair Nepal claimed on Saturday that the UML would face a shameful defeat and will have to be searched in nooks and corners for it will be out of political arena after election.
