Everest Premier League: Chitwan Tigers thrashes Biratnagar Warriors by 2 wickets



KATHMANDU: Chitwan Tigers defeated Biratnagar Warriors by two wickets in the second match of the Everest Premier League (EPL) played at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur on Sunday.

Chasing the 152-run target set by Biratnagar, Chitwan reached the target in 20 overs by losing eight wickets.

Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Biratnagar notched up 151 runs losing 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Sikandar Raza hit 67 runs including four fours and seven sixes in 47 balls.

Likewise, Anil Sah hit 32 runs, while Saurab Khanal scored 30.

Others players could not score double-digit runs for Biratnagar.

Skipper of Chitwan Warriors Sompal Kamil took the 2 wickets. Likewise, Kamal Airee, Karim Airee, Kaarim Janat and Sagar Dhakal took each 2-wicket while Shahab Alam took the single wicket for Chitwan.
