Monsoon to continue for another few days



KATHMANDU: The country has received 13 percent more rain this year than last year, according to the Department of Meteorology.

It said that the country witnessed “above-average” rainfall this year.

The Department said that the monsoon is likely to continue for another few days.

Although June 10 is considered as the time of onset of monsoon, it has been postponed three days from this year to June 13, according to the Department.

This year, the monsoon entered Nepal on 28 June.
