KATHMANDU: Nepal has received 130,000 doses of COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccines in grant from the United Kingdom.

The consignment was handed over Thursday at Tribhuvan International Airport by British Ambassador to Nepal Nicola Pollitt to Chief Specialist at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Dipendra Raman Singh, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Government of Nepal has thanked the government and people of the UK for the generous support.
