UML CC meeting gets underway in Lalitpur

To dwell on partly split, 10-pt deal



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the CPN-UML’s central committee (CC) meeting is underway at the Tulsilal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

The CC meeting of the UML is taking place for the first time following the official registration of the CPN (Unified Socialist) led by former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.

According to Sher Bahadur Tamang, the secretary of the UML party office, UML Chairman KP Oli had called the CC meeting for today afternoon.

The disgruntled leaders, who had earlier sided with leader Nepal, are also participating in the meeting today following the implementation of the 10-point agreement.

Today’s CC meeting will be focused on the impact of the party split and the implementation of the 10-point agreement, said a UML leader.
