Vice President Chaudhary to contest for presidency of NADA Automobiles Association



KATHMANDU: NADA Automobiles Association incumbent Vice President Karan Chaudhary has announced his candidature for the post of president in the upcoming annual general assembly.

Chaurdhary, who is the Executive Director of CG Holdings and CG MotoCorp, announced his candidacy through a Facebook post Monday.

Chaudhary said he would strengthen NADA institutionally by making all provincial structures more systematic. NADA has already expanded to all seven provinces. He added the automobile industry was the highest taxpaying sector and generated large-scare employment in the private sector.

He said he would work to create a conducive environment to benefit both the auto industry and government and attempt to ensure auto industry’s concerns in the government policy.

He stressed on reviving the automobile industry that has been hit hard by the coronavirus-induced situation in the country by bringing in new ideas, initiatives, and innovation, renewed enthusiasm and vigor.
