PM Deuba holding cabinet meeting at 3 pm

To discuss administrative chores



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Council of Ministers is taking place on Monday.

The meeting has been called at Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s official residence in Baluwatar at 3 pm.

According to Law Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who is also the spokesperson of the government, the meeting will dwell on the contemporary political issues and daily administrative chores.

Prime Minister Deuba on Sunday expanded the cabinet by appointing a state minister.

Nepali Congress lawmaker Umesh Shrestha was appointed as the Minister of State for Health and Population at a time when criticisms are pouring in saying that the government is not doing much to control the COVID-19 pandemic.
