KATHMANDU: The knockout stage football tournament under the UEFA European Championship 2020 is taking place from today.
Sixteen teams that qualified for the last sixteen are taking part in the knockout stage.
Wales is taking on Denmark in the first match at 9:45 pm at Johan Cruyff Arena in the Netherlands. Wales had made it to the last 16 from Group A and Denmark from Group ‘B’.
Under the group stage match, Wales had drawn with Switzerland, defeated Turkey and lost to Italy.
Similarly, Italy and Austria are looking horns at Wembley Stadium in England at 1 am (Sunday).
Italy had won all the three games in the group stage while Austria had defeated North Macedonia and Ukraine and lost to the Netherlands.
