MoHP data on patients in ICU and ventilators across country

KATHMANDU: Along with the increase in the number of coronavirus infection cases in Nepal, the number of people undergoing treatment in ICU and ventilator has also increased significantly.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 346 COVID infected people are currently being treated in ventilators and ICUs as on Monday afternoon.

The source informed that there are currently 78 infected people receiving treatment in ventilators and 268 in ICUs across the country.

According to the ministry, 24 infected people are currently undergoing treatment in ICU and one in ventilator in Province 1, while nine people are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 2.

Similarly, 119 people are being treated in ICU and 49 in ventilator in Bagmati province.

Likewise, 5 COVID patients are undergoing treatment in ICU and 1 in ventilator in Gandaki, 75 in ICU and 23 in ventilator in Lumbini.

According to the ministry, 16 people are being treated in ICUs,  and 20 in ICUs in Karnali while four are receiving care in ventilators in the Far-western province.
