Nepal sees 3,556 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 1,912 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 3,556 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,442 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 114 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 1,567 persons in Kathmandu, 223 in Lalitpur, and 122 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, as of Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, 378 persons have returned home after complete health recovery today.

Similarly, the ministry shared that 12 more fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 3,176.
