CDOs of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur to discuss coronavirus risk today



KATHMANDU: Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur are scheduled to hold a meeting on Monday to discuss the risk of COVID-19.

With the coronavirus infection cases increasing each day, CDOs are holding a meeting to discuss measures to curb it.

All three districts in Kathmandu Valley have witnessed more than 500 infected cases. More than 1,100 cases of coronavirus were reported in Kathmandu on Sunday.

According to Lalitpur CDO Dhundi Prasad Niraula, they are holding a meeting today to discuss steps to curb the increase of coronavirus in the Valley.

Meanwhile, the district administration offices in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur will be closed from today except for urgent works.
