NC leader Joshi undergoes head surgery

KATHMANDU: A surgery has been carried out on Nepali Congress leader Nabindra Raj Joshi after he suffered from brain hemorrhage.

According to Raju Raj Joshi, the elder brother of Nabindra, Joshi has now been kept at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Norvic Hospital, Thapathali following the completion of his head surgery.

Doctors involved in his surgery have recommended him to stay for four days at the hospital.

Former Minister Joshi suffered from brain hemorrhage on Thursday night.

Joshi was taken to Norvic Hospital following a preliminary treatment at Bir Hospital this morning.

According to Sushanta Acharya, Joshi’s personal aide, he had a blood clot in his head following the brain hemorrhage.

Former Industry Minister Joshi had lost elections to the Lower House of Representatives held in 2017.
