Tipper-hit kills 35-year-old in Dhakshinkali



KATHMANDU: A man has died after being hit by a tipper in Dakshinkali municipality-6 in the Kathmandu Valley.

The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Santa Lal Lumba of Bhimphedi rural municipality-8, Makwapur.

According to police, a tipper, Ba 2 Ka 4543, heading to Pharping from Namchekhani hit Lumba in Dhakshinkali at 7:15 pm yesterday.

Critically injured Lumba, who was rushed to Nepal Mediciti Hospital, breathed his last in the course of treatment at 8:45 pm.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the tipper driver under control.
