Only 2.5 % subscribers obtain MLBSL IPO



KATHMANDU: Mahila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd (MLBSL) has allotted its initial public offerings (IPO) on Friday.

According to SBI Merchant Banking, the issue manager, 5,000 units of shares have been distributed among its 153 staffers while 20,000 units of shares have been allocated for collective investment fund.

The primary shares were distributed at the office of SBI Merchant Banking at 8 am in accordance with the Securities Issue and Allotment Guidelines, 2074.

Only 2.5 percent of applicants have obtained IPOs of the MLBSL due to many subscribers.

According to the issue manager, out of 1,540,035 applicants who subscribe for the IPO, 3,353 applications had been canceled.

On February 12-17, the MLBSL had issued 375,000 units of primary shares to the public.
