US Ambassador Berry shares Biden’s message with President Bhandari

KATHMANDU: US Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry met President Bidya Devi Bhandari at President’s Office on Tuesday.

Ambassador Randy in a tweet said that he delivered US President Joe Biden’s message to President Bhandari.

“It was my honor to deliver US President’s message of how the new US presidential administration will work to reinvigorate & strengthen democracies at home and around the world and will focus on uplifting the rights of women & girls,” he said.

Earlier on Monday, Berry had called on Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Ambassador Berry in a tweet had said that he discussed US President Joe Biden’s priorities in the meeting with former Prime Ministers.

Earlier on Thursday, Ambassador Berry had met Prime Minister KP Oli and discussed the new US presidential administration’s priorities.
