Bamdev refutes news claiming he will join group picking him as Chairman



KATHMANDU: Vice Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bamdev Gautam has said that his attention has been drawn to news from various media.

According to his Secretariat, Gautam, who is also the coordinator of the party’s National Unity Campaign has drawn the attention to the news by Rastriya Samachar Samiti titled ‘I will join the group that will pick be as Chairman’.

The news was circulated through various online media this morning.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Secretariat said that Gautam had not stated anything about that intention, adding that the news has insulted him in various ways and created confusion over his thoughts, campaign, and working style.
