LAHAN: Police have arrested three individuals with a large amount of narcotic drugs from Mirchaiya municipality-9 in Siraha district.
A police squad deployed from Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, nabbed 18-year-old Deependra Raya, of Mirchaiya-8, Sanjeev Mandal and Shambhu Yadav, 33, of Kamala municipality-8 with 25 kilograms of marijuana.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided Rana Bahadur Shrestha’s house based at Mirchaiya-9 and arrested the trio with the large amount of illegal drugs, said DSP Shaligram Sharma, the spokesperson of District Police Office, Siraha.
Police said they are investigating the case.
