Five municipalities establish sister ties with Lumbini Garden Foundation of Spain



PARBAT: Lumbini Garden Foundation Spain will support the development and prosperity of five municipalities in three districts of Dhaulagiri.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Foundation and Beni Municipality, Baglung Municipality, Kusma Municipality, Jaljala Rural Municipality and Modi Rural Municipality on Friday.

In the presence of National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Timilsina, Govinda Prasad Subedi, Founder Vice President of the Foundation signed the MoU with Mayor of Beni Hari Kumar Shrestha, Mayor of Baglung Janak Raj Poudel, Mayor of Kusma Ram Chandra Joshi, Chair of Modi Rural Municipality Prem Sharma Poudel and Chair of Jaljala Rural Municipality Yam Bahadur Malla.

Highly appreciating the role played by the Foundation in deepening the relations between Spain and Nepal, Speaker of the National Assembly Timilsina said that support from Spain was needed for the overall development of Dhaulagiri.
