NC leader Pariyar announces candidacy for deputy gen secy



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Jeevan Pariyar has announced his candidacy for the post of deputy general secretary of the party.

Posting a Facebook message on Thursday, Pariyar announced his candidacy for the post in the 14th General Convention of the party.

Originally from Kaski, Pariyar had become a member of the Constituent Assembly. He has been actively involved in the Nepali politics after he was elected as a Central Working Committee member of the Nepali Congress in 2067 BS.

He informed that he will play his roles to make the party more popular, consolidated and powerful after once he becomes the deputy general secretary.
