Proton cars announces special 0.99% interest scheme



KATHMANDU: Jagdamba Motors, the sole distributor of Proton cars in Nepal, has announced its “Special 0.99% Interest” Scheme from 10th October, 2021.

This scheme gives the customers the ability to purchase Proton X70 or Proton Saga at just 0.99% interest rate.

At a time when the bank interest rate is fluctuating, this scheme provides customers an opportunity like never before to take advantage of the 0.99% interest and finance their dream car, according to Proton.

In addition to the Special 0.99% Interest Scheme, there are also various other financing options at 2.99%, 5.99%, 8.99% and 11% interest rate where the down payment differs accordingly.

These offers are valid for a limited time period only. To take advantage of these schemes, Jagdamba Credit and Investment Pvt. Ltd. has been providing in-house financing services to their customers.

The starting price for Proton Saga is Rs. 37.99 Lakhs whereas the Proton X70 starts at Rs. 86.99 Lakhs. This scheme is also available at Pokhara and Butwal showroom in addition to Gairidhara, Naxal.

Proton Automobile Company is Malaysia’s national automobile company that gained fame in a short time and launched its first vehicle in 1985 as “Proton Saga”.

Since then, Proton has been successful in manufacturing and distributing various new models in various domestic and foreign markets. Currently, Proton vehicles are available in more than 70 countries of the world and have about 4.4 million users.
