Nepal records 776 new COVID-19 cases, 13 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 227 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 776 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 676 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 103 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 185 persons in Kathmandu, 33 in Lalitpur, and 9 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 2274 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 13 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 501 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
