11 Afghan nationals arrested from a hotel in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 11 Afghanistani nationals from Kathmandu.

CIB spokesperson Shyam Kumar Mahato said that they were arrested at a hotel in Sinamangal on Monday morning.

“We have arrested the foreigners on the basis of information that they are hiding in a hotel in Sinamangal,” he said.

The number of people fleeing Afghanistan has increased since the Taliban took over power.

It is seen that they also entered Nepal through India.

Police have also recovered Indian documents from them. Police said that they are also investigating the documents.
