He shared that the one-day mini-festival is going to be held in order to make the tourism dynamic, adding the tourism sector was most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Different cultural events like musical bands, Lakhe dance of Newar community, Jhumra dance of Tharu community, among others would be presented at the festival.

Baral added that the event would be organized by managing the crowd adopting the no-vehicle zone concept in the festival venue as there is still a risk of coronavirus infection.

Saying tourism target activities were necessary to make the tourism dynamic, Chairperson of Pokhara Tourism Council, Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai, adding that the mini-festival would disseminate a message that Pokhara is safe and open.
