CPN-UML holding CC meeting at 3 pm today

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML is holding a central committee (CC) meeting at Tulsilal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal, Lalitur today.

Political and organizational reports and statute amendment proposal were submitted in the CC meeting that began from Friday.

A group-wise discussion is underway on the political dossier submitted by Chairman KP Oli, organizational report prepared by General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel and statute amendment proposal prepared by Bishnu Prasad Paudel.

The discussion on the reports is underway by creating 10 groups which are led by seven provincial in-charges, departmental head, section head and special/liaison forum.

UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai said these reports will be endorsed with amendments in line with the suggestions provided by the groups.

The group-wise discussion will begin from 11 am today. The CC meeting will take place at 3 pm.  The reports endorsed by the CC will be submitted in the Statute General Convention.
