Golyan Group supports feeding and neutering street dogs

KATHMANDU: The Golyan Group has come for humanitarian support of the care of street animals of late.

As a part of its humanitarian campaign for animals, the Group has offered financial assistance to manage the food for stray dogs in the Kathmandu Valley.

The organization has also helped neutering the dogs to control the growing number of stray dogs each year.

The group has supported Sneha Care, an organization which has been taking care of stray dogs for about eight years.

According to Akshay Golyan, the Director of Golyan Group, the Group has helped feed 1,200 community dogs and neutered 200 dogs in the first phase.

Stating that he has been an animal lover, Golyan said that in collaboration with the Sneha Care, the Group has been feeding the dogs since Tuesday

A leading private sector enterprise in Nepal, the Group plans to help Sneha care to neuter 400 dogs in four phases this year.

According to Golyan, his group will help spaying 100 dogs at each stage. It also aims to feed 1200 dogs in a year.
