Nepal wins three bronze medals in ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championship



KATHMANDU: Nepal has won three bronze medals in the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships underway in the United Arab Emirates.

In the 54 kg junior group (men), Chhiring Wangdi Sherpa won a bronze.

He defeated Mohammad Alijeni of Kuwait 5-0. Likewise, Swastika Tiruwa and Narika Rai won bronze medals. Tiruwa competed in the 52 kg junior group (women), while Rai in the 57 kg category, said Coach Dambar Datta Bhatta.
