SOLUKHUMBU: A municipal police personnel has gone missing when he along with his motorcycle was swept away by a local river at Soludhdhkunda Municipality-2 in the district.
Dawa Tenji Sherpa, 22, of the municipality-8, who worked for the municipality on a motorcycle (State-3-102008 Pa 3153) was crossing local Basakhola when the incident took place, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Kabit Katawal. The incident took place on Tuesday.
The police with the help of local people’s representatives, municipal police and local people have launched a search for the missing municipal police, he said.
