UML free of dispute after 10-point deal, no need to create another one: UML leader Rawal

KATHMADNU: UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal has said the party was free of dispute after a 10-point agreement was reached and party leaders need not to create another dispute in the UML.

Speaking at an informal meeting of defunct UML task force member Sunday, Rawal, who was coordinator from senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal faction, asked UML lawmakers why were they holding discussion about dispute as the dispute had already been resolved.

“We all hold same ideology and have agreed to take the party to May 16, 2018. Why are we creating another dispute?” he said.

He added, “From both the warring factions, we have already declared that all activities that were against the party statute would be void. What greater declaration could there be for unity?”
