Oli urges those ‘going out of track’ for comeback

KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli has urged those party leaders and cadres, who, he argued, deviated from the track, to return to the party.

In his address to the first meeting of the All Nepal Women’s Association secretariat here today, he made this call.

Earlier, he announced to grant them amnesty. “I urge those deviated from the track to get back to the party. Party policy and principles should be followed,” Oli, who is also the erstwhile Prime Minister, said.

He further underlined the need of engaging the party for good governance and development by transforming it into a model party.

“It is being tried to take the politics to a wrong course and efforts are on to detach the politics from the parliament,” he claimed, adding that due to the same reason he announced to go for fresh polls for correcting politics.

According to him, it deserves to be interpreted as a crime when someone gets engaged in inappropriate activities by staying within the party and it is capable of hampering the democratic movement.

The Chairman took time to stress that there should be more participation of women in every aspect of social life too.

Association coordinator Thammaya Thapa spoke of the need to further strengthening the party organization.
