BHAKTAPUR: Police have arrested a man from Bhaktapur on the charge of attempting to attack a policeman on duty.
Ajay Raut, 22, of Salyan in Bhaktapur Municipality-9 was arrested on Saturday on charges of trying to attack a police officer on duty at Chyamasingh.
According to the police, he was arrested with a rod after he attempted to attack a police officer on duty from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Jagati.
Police said that further investigation is underway into the incident.
