Ruling alliance to work in unison to run government



KATHMANDU: The ruling party alliance has decided to work in unison to run the government smoothly and effectively.

The five parties – Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre) CPN-UML’s senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal faction, Janata Samajbadi Party, and Rastriya Janamorcha Party – have decided to make the government business effective.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the alliance on Saturday evening discussed issues related to the expansion of cabinet, latest political developments, pandemic control, future plans and programs of the government, among other issues.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajbadi Party Chair Upendra Yadav, and Rastriya Janamorcha Party Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC had held a meeting to decide the alliance’s future course of action.
