Metro, buses in Delhi to run at 100% capacity from Monday



NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro and DTC buses will run at full capacity in the national capital from today, as per the Delhi Disaster Management Authority’s (DDMA).

According to the ‘Unlock 8’ order issued by the DDMA, relaxations will come into effect at 5 am on Monday.

The Delhi Metro will run at 100 percent seating capacity, according to India Today.

Likewise, DTC and cluster buses will also operate at 100 percent capacity. Theatres and multiplexes have opened at 50 percent seating capacity from today.

The authority has also permitted spas to open but only if all the employees are fully vaccinated or undergo an RT-PCR test fortnightly.

A maximum of 100 people will be allowed to gather for wedding ceremonies, according to DDMA.

Similarly, a maximum of 100 people will be permitted to attend funerals.
